If its been replaced once before they may not do it again, As for your car being dropped may give you more of an issue and blame it on that. How low is it ? 1-2" ? if its more than that you will def end up damaging something in the steering system as it has to work harder.
do you happen to know if the racks for an 06 300 are interchangable with any other 3GS models? I figure it has to be the AWD one correct? Also is there any other differences i need to look for or ask about such as adaptive steering?
Hi TACH_MOTOR,
I'm about to install a XenonDepot HID kit on my 2010 LX570. Any concerns with disconnecting the battery (beyond the need to "prime" the windows and moonroof after reconnect and losing presets)? I did this once before on my GX (HID kit install as well) and on the GS (XM install) with no major issues, but thought I would check.
It seems like there are fewer and fewer install procedures that Lexus requires a full battery disconnect for (looked at remote start installation instructions, and they only say disconnect negative terminal), but you would know better so I'm eager to hear your thoughts.
Thank you!

TACH MOTOR . . . the car is a 99 RX 300, the codes are P0171 and P0441. I replaced the pcv valve and grommet. I replaced the AF ratio (B1 S1) and still poor gas mileage (~12mpg). I replaced the spark plugs earlier in the year and an OCV. Put Bosch plugs in. Did not change any coil packs. As stated earlier, I changed MAF recently too. Another hing that takes place from time to time is that the car will not shift into OD. I restet the CEL and all is fine until it comes back on again in about 30 - 50 miles. Thanks in advance.

well they called today and said it was the rack that needed replacing. they wont replace it again because apparently the part only carries a 12 month warranty. the car has maybe 5000 miles on it since it was changed out. would a new one really go bad that quickly? I noticed they did try to blame it on the lowering.

P0171 you have to change bank 1 sensor 2 along with sensor 1. P0441 is your vsv or charcoal canister, Check all your vacuum hoses and lines for cracks etc..
Is there a possibility that the new sensor that I put could have been ruined due to the other sensors being bad, or is that something that I shouldn't worry about. Thanks for your help!

I have a 2008 RX 350 and one of the HID headlight assemblies is shattered. Can I replace both headlight assemblies with regular assemblies? will they plug directly in with changing any wiring and will any lights come on in the dash? thanks
