I've been on the site for a while, just not active in this section. So, I thought it was time to get off my **** and make a proper intro as I might meet some of you for the first time this Sunday if you're going to Heckshire.

Long ago I had an SC400 which I totally loved BUT eventually the car started giving me more problems than I felt it was worth. Sold it and bought this;

Met some really cool peeps and loved driving the Formula for almost four years. Eventually age got the better of me and I decided it was time to step back up to a Lexus so my hunt for a GS400 began. This brings me to what I am driving today.

I know what's coming so let me preempt the comments...

A. I *MIGHT* drop it a little but it's not getting slammed.
B. I LIKE, I repeat LIKE my badges other than the "Limited Edition" on the fender. So they're staying no matter how much you point and laugh.
C. I am thinking about doing an exhaust system AFTER I find someone to solve the damn front-end shimmy.

Nice pick up! And your car is very shiny!

For help with the front end shimmy, try Daizen steering bushings. Also, many people have said that swapping out the suspension helps with that as well.

if it is play in the steering wheel it is indeed the rack bushings.
did mine on my last SC and fixed it right up. before that it was like driving a boat.

nice GS and nice formula. I really like the non divided hood scoop. looks mean.

Thanks for the comments... the car looks great from 10 ft away but there are leaf marks in the hood I don't have the expertise to remove. I need to find someone good with a wheel to get the car right.

Front end... yes I've been doing a lot of reading and am looking for someone to do the bushings for starters and take it from there.

Scarlett... Yes, it is all about me isn't it? lol

Nice pickup on the GS. That Blue on the Trans AM is just pure sex. Very nice.

Welcome very nice GS400 and I like the blue formula firebird as well. Hey, with the GS400 you still have a V8 and rear wheel drive, so you won't miss the firebird to much.
