so im driving down 2nd ave when this guy tries to pull out of his parking spot into moving traffic. the pickup truck in front of me slams on the brakes. i panic braked [read: buried the brakes and ABS kicked in] and ever so gently tapped his trailer bar. if i hit a regular car with a bumper, i know there wouldnt have been any damage. but i guess im not that lucky.

i've thought about buying a used hood and getting it painted or just getting mine repaired. can anyone recommend a good place?

thanks guys. i wished these referrals came in one day sooner. since i got off work early yesterday, i brought her in to a place that my friend's father recommended. it's in jackson heights and the bosslady quoted me $300. she said i can pick it up friday after work. i'll post pics when i get her back.
