LOL.. I am loving the ideas guys. Let's keep in mind that this event is still 7 months away so at this point and time these are just ideas to kick around. This gives me a feel to see what you guys are thinking so that once the event planning gets started, I at least have a good field of thought and can move forward from there. BBQ idea,, as Leroy stated is def out. No one is allowed to BBQ on the Carlisle Fariground property. Remember, the Carlisle event is not an event set up by NELOC (which is why I stated that this was not an exclusive NELOC event) so therefore we have to abide by the promoters rules/guidelines etc. once things have been established.

DJSpawn,,your volunteering to to not let the music stop has been noted. Just relax a little, don't want to get too far ahead of the game at this time.

looks like a great time...i would like to roll in this year with you guys....

i guess i really have no say on the ideas since i wasnt there yet, but i like vlads idea to put certain model cars together, if you can end up figuring out how to do that one with the time you have...also your idea with the fact sheet sounds good.

music is a great idea if there was none before
Lextronics,, nonsense. All opinions/ suggestions welcomed. You are more than welcome to roll in with the group provided you attend and meet up on time; you are a NELOC member. Anyway,,getting a little too far ahead here. Everyone stay tuned and be on the lookout for the official information release, as it relates to the NELOC group, sometime toward the beginning of the year.

As stated once before,,, this is only an idea thread for now. Nothing has been set in stone yet, but this gives me time to see what things may need to be worked on ahead of time, as well as allow the time to have it completed.

Um,,let me think about that....NO!!! LOL!!! There is no need for it since we have no offroad Lexus vehicles which ACTUALLY ATTEND **cough,,hack,,1LOUDLX,,cough**. Can't go making changes to the landscaping on the fairgrounds. Ideas being developed need to be versitle in being able to be setup and taken down quickly.

Why don't you plan on coming out first. Then take your LX over to the drift course

unless there happens to be 2 feet of snow on the drift course, or its covered in lots of dirt, i doubt this 3ton truck will drift.

Jae and Leroy, you two can be the models lmao... don't think it would grab much attention but hey we'll give you an A for effort!

Ok seriously, if there does happen to be models, Rare and I might be able to hook up a body airbrush artist. Some of you met him at my house during a get together last year, he's one of Carlos' best friends. Dave is very talented!

Instead of throwing up pics, which you all would love See all of his work at:

Ok, I don't want this to die, after thinking awhile I have a few ideas.
Now, the stated goal, is to have over 100 cars, and to have one of the big buildings, I really don't think NELOC can do this alone, we need help from friends. I have gone to many meets and shows, and all the cars are connected on some way or another, so here it goes..

Invite Supras from Supraforums- one, many of them are Lexus owners anyway, and some are members of NELOC, also supra owners invite neloc to all there events. The supra is the pinnacle of Toyota, people love them, produce unlimted power, and the vast majorty are clean and classy i.e. no rice. I think Lexus and Supra complement each other.

Invite, some of the big VIP/ show car groups- again many NELOC members are parts of these groups anyway, I really liked the VIP car area last year, but they need to be with all the other NELOC cars. There are many new VIP groups, like gotham VIP, and yes, Lexus is big in the VIP scene, but all the VIP cars, like infinti's and maybe european vip style cars like benz's should be invited. another car group that has some VIP, but is a great show car group/vendor is D2 autosport, to have there cars, like seen in hot import nights, would be incredible, especially d2 girl's IS-F and gallardo! I would also invite team regiment zero, out of the mid atlantic, again having great and clean show cars.

Ok, one last group to invite and the big reason why, is I don't see them at all is to invite all acura NSX's. First, the most NSX's I have seen at a show this year is three at the maryland charity car show. I only saw one at carlisle last year, and two recently at the fort hunt meet. I really think the NSX drivers will come out, the majorty of them from NSX prime, if they are gurranteed parking in a closed in building, a class atmosphere and away from anything ricey, a NSX showcase . Just imagine if ten of them showed up?, and what the reaction will be. Yes we love our Lexus, but 99% will trade for a NSX. So I think if all this will happen, we will have the big building and over 100 cars in there that people will talk about for years.. I know big dream.

Lastly, one quick idea, NICO club had the track, last year, so I was thinking on one of the slower days, maybe on friday, get some small track time. so NELOC rents a mustang or some other rental car and in this car each person who wants to gets a run or two on a autocross course to see who is the best driver, competing for the best time, I think it would be fun!!

so what do you guy's think?
