I'm tired of going back and forth to queens to do repairs to the GS. Does anyone know of a good Suspension/Alignment shop in Staten Island?

Quality of work and price are important.

dude i wish our alignment machine was working, that thing is awesome I
would do it for you. the computer for our alignment rack keeps crashing ;(

 

Is there an NTB around your way? There pretty good they have the hunter machine and for a hundred dollars you can go as many times as you want within a year . just bring some 2x6 planks to get your car on the machine thats what i do

 

Dude! If you can get the machine back up, i'd be there in a hot minute!

I'm not familiar with NTB. But I do carry my own wood planks...

I haven't found any decent shops on SI. The 2 autozones by me don't have a service dept.

 

Todd, where do you take you car in Queens? I need to get an alignment done soon..I went once to a ABC shop for an alignment once and they didnt know what the hell they were doing..

hey todd, im gonna get them to get that damm computer working and ill let u know. the hunter machine we have is pretty good, and its pretty low too u wont need planks. my friend brought in a 6 series coupe lowered on 20's and it made it up fine.

dont know about you guys but i trust pepboys and theres one on forest ave next to richmond

 

come out to mavis tire in Franklin Square. they're pretty good at alignments

 

Thanx for the advice guys, but most places (Especially Pepboys) won't touch a car with a modified suspension with tucked wheels. I used to go to 106th tire since they align lowered cars but they do not Print the alignment specs after the Alignment. So I found that 106th adjusts for camber and toe but not for caster.

Ultimately, I just raised the car's ride height so I could take it to Gemma Automotive here in SI. They have an impressive Hunter machine and took great care with my wheel alignment needs.
