Some of you may or may not know already but I have been bitten by the mod bug ever since I started coming out to these meets this year. I've been a member for a while but never had or made the time to come out to meets as I am one of the few eastern suffolk county people on LI and making a meet is hard when there is a long drive plus it kills gas and I am a struggling college student as opposed to some of you other ballers out there..


It all started out with smoked tails courtesy of Cathy which I still thank to this day and an amazing detail from Dennis aka Onehot. Dennis is an amazing detailer and I highly recommend him if your car is in need. He got me into it and I cant thank him enough.

Needless to say, I attended the Rallye Tuner Meet on 5/17/08 I believe with pretty much a stock car with the exception of HID lowbeams and fogs, Smoked tails and reflectors, and a cf shift **** and overlays...


I have took the advice and did my research on many parts and mods that are affordable to me and took a go at it.. This is my first modded car ever for the most part. I had a fully loaded 05 Mazda 6 but it was totalled before I could even do anything to it thanks to an oblivious girl. On the other hand, I wouldnt have my lexus if it wasnt for her. haha..

Since Rallye, I've lowered my car, got the gfx front lip, fog overlays, 08 interior door sills and custom wired, JP neck pads, CF door pillars, SGM painted outter chrome grille bezel, and some JDM window visors.

Sorry for the long post and crappy pics, it was with a point and shoot. I will try to do another photoshoot when I wash my car with my moms DSLR.

Your car is desperately screaming for some wheels and a drop!

SGM is such a beauty to look at in the daytime. Your burry pics are really not doing the color justice; SGM flakes like crazy in the sun!...

Otherwise, the car is really coming along man...

Rims, tires, and drop might seem simple but its big $$ to get it done right...Take your time and save up, your car will look fanastic with the "right" wheel and drop combination..

It is dropped but the 17inch makes it less noticeable since its awd lol. Us AWD guys are trying to get some companies to make coilovers for us but we still waiting for more info.

I am probably saving rims for last as it is the biggest decision and will complete the look I am going for.

New photoshoot with a tripod and DSLR soon. Only excuse then is my crappy photo skills haha.

This is my car at the Rallye meet lol. You can tell how much higher it was. On the RM springs though, the drop looks a little uneven.

Looks good Papa! how did you smoke your tailights? I think that is my fav mod on your car, it goes so well with your color.

Struggling college student that drives a lexus and can mod it....not sure how to comment on that other than a congrats.

 

wow andrew the car has come a long way...it looks great!! i'm glad you love the tail lights... jon did a great job on them which is why i used him again for the tails on the F and thank you again for swapping with me when i was parting out

 

I dont own the house lol, I wish! I still live at home with my parents.

No more mods for now lol. I need to re-up the funds.. Xmas will start up again most likely.

I moved out here like 5-6 years ago from queens. I wish I still lived there. Out here is so boring and crap is so far away.
