Default muffler shop..

planning on swapping with a member here my stock exhaust + $500 for his tanabe medallion tourings. Anyone know a good and inexpensive muffler shop for the swap? we're also swapping the Y-pipes as well. Thanks!

yeah its all bolt-ons, but the only problem is whether my stock exhaust bolts are rusted on so bad that they would need to be torched. That's the only readon why I'm considering taking it to a muffler shop.

this is a basic swap any garage could perform. No need for a muffler shop.

Not sure where you are located but American Muffler in Old country road Long Island does high quality work. Their welds are very good. I have gotten 3 custom exhaust systems from then and no complaints or leaks anywhere.

I dont have their address off the top of my head but they are in the yellow pages if you want to look into them. Their prices are great too.

Just do it in your back yard tommy. You can buy bolts at home depot to replace them if they break. It isn't that hard. Mine broke off when I did my hks exhaust and I could just get some new bolts from hd if I wanted to put the stockers back on.

thanks for the input angel, but will my stock exhausts be rusted on tighter than I can remove with just regular hand tools? my car has 99k miles on it with the stock exhausts and y-pipe, how difficult would they be to disassemble? That's the only thing I'm worried about.

+1, This place used to make custom Exhausts for my Cousin's old company, i think it was UltraSmith. Ask for Mitch(part-owner), he's a buddy of my Cousin's.

They are about a block or two before Century 21, and a few blocks after Checkers.
