Default Anyone else get Hail Damage...

My SC was lit up from last weeks storm. The whole left side and top is done. I might have to purchase parts too: Fender, Door and trunk. (Hood I may go carbon fiber). Insurance wants to total the car if anythings over $2000.00. I might have to come out of pocket on this. Just wanted to vent on how crappy the weather has been. And delaying my mod plans for the SC a few months or so. And yes the GS and GX is fine. The Lexus (Ford) Ranger took hits too but it only made it look better. Again just wanted to vent.

Anyway my next weekends off is July 18th-20th. So anyone have anything planned let me know.

Hopefully the dirt on my car protected it. I have yet to wash my car in two weeks. I just got back off of travel. Let me know if you need any help Nate. Sorry to hear about the damage.

Yeah Nate,, I saw the damage to the car last weekend and it did take a pretty good hit. I been trying to get ahold of my body shop guy to see what he can do for you. He been on travel so getting ahold of him has been difficult. I will keep trying.

I got off of work late last night I could hear the hail pounding my ride. I hope when I look at it this morning there isnt any damage. I dont think there will be though. ES's are built tougher than SCs

Just kidding. Let me stop joking around cuz I know people can be a little sensitive sometimes.

No hail here in Queens/City, NY. Got caught in 50-60mph winds getting off the 59th street bridge. I seriously thought I was about to get caught in a tornado. Thank God it wasnt as bad as it looked.

maybee find a shop that will give you a quote less than 2k and rebuild it; its worth a shot an better than getting it totaled

Rain was pretty nasty last night. I just washed my car on Friday...blah! Now she looks like someone poured dirty water all over her. But no damage thank God! One of my co-workers had a tree fall on his car...poor thing.

Well have a appointment with the insurance company saturday. My paint guy says they will give me have the value of the car for repair and not total the car. So if they can meet me halfway, he would do the repairs for me at a discount. Crossing fingers.
