Well here goes,

My name is Ron and i live in Baltimore and am new to NELOC. Trying to make it to 3 events to get certified as a member. I have always enjoyed the Toyota family starting with my first car:

1995 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo (traded it in for a 1999 Infinti G20T which i totaled 6 months later. GO FIGURE)
i know, dumbest mistake of i ever made, i only got $18K with 35K miles on a trade in. I WAS 20 YEARS OLD AND NEEDED TO DECREASE MY PAYMENT.

2006 GS300 AWD Which i currently still drive (PICS ATTACHED)
2007 GX470 My wife drives this and will be a baby carrier. my wife is due in June)

I have been on this website for almost a year now and today, i was PM'd from a member who asked if i was going to the BBQ in MD on the 28th. So here i am.

I get all of my work done at AMX motorsports 410-285-8886. My boy Andy owns the store in Baltimore and has the best prices on rims, tint, audio, custom paint, etc in Baltimore. His trademark is a white 2006 HUMMER SUT with 30" ASANTI wheels and basketball hardwood flooring in the back. (Currently for sale)

Other than that, i am new to this sort of thing and wanted to say hello.

I'm really starting to dig the accent on the wheels painted the color of the car. Really looks sharp and makes the wheels not so "chromy" (it's a new word...just made it up).

And congrats on the baby on the way!

Plans for the GS:

6000K D4S Bulbs (on the way)
HID Fogs (on the way)
DVD Nav Hack (done)
Springs (Eventually when someone makes them esp for the AWD)
Custom Red Suede Headliner for interior (scheduled for install next month)

The custom paint look is pretty popular here in MD. Plus i def wanted to avoid the "chromy" look. I like that, its already growing on me.

Other than that, my son gets the rest of money for the next year or so.

Welcome Ron and congrads on the New addition to the family. I know for a fact that you are just bursting at the seams. The 3 meet rule is for you to earn your NELOC sticker which "officially" certifies you as one of us. Take your time and def dont be in a hurry to try to make the meets, especially with such pressing matters ahead of you. We will be around and trust me, we truly understand. We emphasize the theme of Neloc being more than just about the cars, and we live it everyday. Take care of family and business first,, we as a club will still be here.

The GS looks sick man welcome.I realy like the Broze tint. i am thinking about gettin mine all tinted bronze in 35%. I just got pulled over today for my 35% though so i dunno.

TORTOISE- i live in north-central jersey and am to debating to tint my fronts,i have 5% TINT in the back,cops love those tint tickets

 

Looks Sic Ron love the rims and simply the fact that you have an awd gs. AWD!!!! Its always the way to go
