Visiting New York City 6/5 - 6/8 and need advice
I’ve been to New York a handful of times but I’ve always stayed at my cousin’s apartment in Manhattan. I am planning a trip for my best friend’s graduation and birthday weekend. I need a room which can accommodate 4 guys for Thursday – Sunday. If you guys have any recommendations on where to go and what hotels are the best all around choices I would appreciate it. I would prefer it to be close to some night life, clean and that’s pretty much it :P. Our trip will consist of some sightseeing during the day, (none of the other 3 have been to NY so I have to show them around as best as I can) and getting as trashed as possible at nights.
Any suggestions my fellow CL Brethren?

wsup Tommy, nice to meet up. if the price is of no concern u should probly stay at the W in times square, in the heart of the city and its always a well lit area so u wont get mugged coming back trashed from the bar scene close by either. You should give us a shout when u come thru so we can set up a mini-meet as the CL members of SoCal did for me when I visited LA 2 months ago.

Westin at times square is very nice and as stated a great place to stay.
i am also down with tommy to show you around if my work schedule doesn't conflict. Tommy could be the tour guide... since i'm from PA and all
Perverts. LOL... but the word on the street is oohpapi is the connect man to strip clubs in NY. Maybe someone should give him a shout. LOL...

Cabana next to the Meritime hotel on the west side is a nice bar/lounge, especially if its warm out they open up the other outdoor bar.
230 Fifth nice rooftop bar.
Just make sure you're dressed right and don't roll with a sausage party.

thanks for the tips guys,
it looks like we will be staying in an apartment near soho...
184 Prince Street
New York, NY 10012
I think we will most probably stay in Manhattan the whole time, 2 of our friends have never been so we will probably spend a lot of time sight seeing.

I would recommend 230 Fifth Avenue also...Its one of the primer lounge spots in NYC..Although the music can be random at times, this upscale lounge is trendy and has superior view of the city...Great place to bring some ladies to hang out...Off nights are free, Fri-Sat I believe there is a cover charge...But well worth the view and atmosphere...
