Default Got my oil changed! and some other stuff

Well, I finally brought in my car to get an oil change, and some other stuff.

Lub, oil and filter service
Castrol gtx lube, oil and filter change
oil filter, powerflo
recycling fee
High Milage castrol 5w-30

Air conditioning service
Alternator drive belt
Poly rib belt
Water pump drive belt

The total damage was $151.48!!!

I went to Strauss Auto, best place I know of in the area. After I took it out of the garage, and pulled up into the highway, the car was FLYING! Not really, but you get the idea.

I also found out that there's a leak on my Y-connector for the exhaust. Pretty big hole too =/ So I need to find a garage that does mufflers as well so I can have it fixed.

I would've charged you a pack of beer and some food to do that for you

What was exactly covered on the air conditioning service??

For the air conditioning, the main valve was replaced, fluid was flushed, and the belt was replaced too.

On the custom exhaust, I'm thinking about doing that. When I looked at the exhaust system, it was all corroded and stuff. Any idea how much that'll cost?

Yeah man... Nobody but me has done everything on my car except the transmission flushed AND i had to be there when they did it or i was going to take my business elsewhere.

Oil change, brakes, lights, done by yours truly... Timing belt, lower ball joints, tie rods and suspension will be coming this spring

It is, i've done about four on my previous cars and I would be lying if I say i wasn't nervous the first couple times. I'll be taking detailed pics to see if I can do a write up on it for the DIY guys.

Chris, if you want to learn how to do stuff just hit me up... ohhpapi and Soup said they'll help you out too if i'm not mistaken. Only thing is i don't really have a driveway or garage to work on, usually just go to my friends spot.

Was there a leak or problem with your A/C?
You mentioned that the alternator belt, a/c belt, water pump belt were replaced... you do know that one belt drives everything right? I'm not trying to be a smarty pants just don't want you to get robbed for your money

Yeah I know. I realized that when I showed my dad the bill. I called up the corporates, and asked them to look into the extra $150.00 they charged me for the AC service to which I never asked for.
