I will come through. Flushing Meadow Park is a good spot just specify where exactly in the park it will be, since the park have like umpty sections.

UPDATED DIRECTIONS***************


There will be some nice photo opportunities as well!

Afterwards we can hitup the mall or something too!!

It would be a good place because no police come by there...so if anyone gets an urge to do a donut we wont get in trouble!


Grand Central Parkway -

Grand Central Parkway EAST -- Take EXIT 11 Go down about 2 blocks..you will see a sign saying Grand Central pkway Triboro Bridge..you make a LEFT...that is Jewel Avenue....DONT MERGE INTO GCP!!!
take that down until you hit the first light...MAKE A U-TURN AT THE LIGHT...As soon as you make a U-turn you will see a sign to merge into the GCP TRIBORO...you go towards there but you take the right...DONT MERGE IN...take the right before the merger into the PARK....go down and that is the meet spot!!



Van Wyck Expressway -

1. Van Wyck South - Exit 11 (Jewel Ave) - Leads to an access road on the left that says FLUSHING MEADOW PARK....Enter the park...Make a LEFT (can only make a Left)... Once you enter and make the left...keep going down till the end...you will passs a small over pass bridge and a softball field...keep going down and at the end of the Roundabout...there is a parking lot... THAT IS THE MEET SPOT!


2. Van Wyck North - Exit 12A (College Point Blvd/LIE) - A bit tricky but follow College Point Boulevard (north) and look for park entrance under expressway on left.

Long Island Expressway (LIE) -

1. LIE Exit 22 to Grand Central Parkway (west, Triboro Bridge) - Then exit almost immediately at 9E (see above).

2. LIE Exit 22 to College Point Boulevard (tricky) - Head north on College Point and look for park entrance under expressway on left.

 

i'm down if im not busy that sunday. Flushing meadows park is good spot, i be there in 10 min if no traffic

 

It would take me roughly....... 1 1/2 hour to get there. Or I can spend 9$ taking the verazano bridge, or 6$ for holland............. HOLLAND!

 

If im off im down to join and meet all ya in person.

 

dont encourage the donuts... im a walking ticket as it is....

 

Not sure if you want to do that.....BQE/LIE out to Queens from the Holland use to be a *****....really bad road. NYer's....are the roads any better? I usually go through Chinatown and then hit the BQE/LIE to Flushing....or the Verazano, which is a better road.

Thoughts????? .....I may have to come up

 

yikes both are poison, due to different reasons... but verazano to the belt to the van vyck may be the better option.
