Default 2007 CCSU Car Club Fall Show/Meet

Hey guys, just lettin you all know that the CCSU Car Club's fall show will be on Sunday, October 14th this year. This will be another charity benefit for the FSMA. For those who don't know, that is the charity that Jonathan at Bristol Dyno's daughter Emma benefits from. This fall the show will be a little different, less of a show, more of a meet, but there will still be awards. Right now, the categories are:

Homecoming King –Best in Show
Queen- Best Female Driven Car
Most Likely To Succeed = Most Balanced Performance Car
Class Jock = Most Powerful Car
Class Geek = Most High Tech Car
Biggest Flirt = Most enticing or sexy car
Class Bully = Truck
Shop Class Award = Muscle Car
C3 Award= Sleeper
Club Award
4cyl Award
6cyl Award
8cyl Award

This fall's theme will be Homecoming, as the show is during homecoming weekend. Also, this year it will take place in Kaiser Lot (the big one next to the football field) in efforts to avoid the cluster***** that parking has been in the past. As usual we will have some innovative events, I think we'll be saving the car smash until the spring show, but we will have some other cool events this fall. Hope to see all of you there!

Kinda short ntice on this one Eric. I noticed that you posted on 10/2. Neloc, as a group will roll to most shows in a reasonable driving area, given enough notice. If you would like to have bigger turnout, need a bit more advanced notice as we do things on a voluntary basis and we have alot of people who have weekend jobs and need to make arrangements to have off from work.

NELOC--
This is a charity event based in Connecticut. Joe C, I think also mentioned a car show based up there, not sure if this is the one or not; have to double check. Anyway, proceeds from this charity car show will benefit a good cause in helping to find a cure for kids with muscular atrophy--

[ Muscle atrophy
Main article: Muscle atrophy
Disuse atrophy of muscles (muscle atrophy) and bones, with loss of mass and strength, can occur after prolonged immobility, such as extended bedrest, or having a body part in a cast (living in darkness for the eye, bedridden for the legs, etc).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atrophy

I would encourage any of the NELOC North members who are free to attend to do so. I know for a fact the NELOC NORTH has love for the kids, so if you are able to attend, please sign up, get ya caravans going and show some love for the kids.
BLAIR,, no excuses,,,, this is practically in your back yard. Leave the Porsche home for one day, wash/wax the LS and actuallly participate in this event.

Sign up today if you are able to attend people.
