Ladies and gents, Tony(trukn1) and myself have been compiling all of the ideas in which we received at yesterdays' round-table meet. Below are some of the ideas in which we received as voiced by the members'. Some of these ideas listed are gonna be seasonal based due to weather, operational times, etc,,, others will have the capacity to span over into some of the colder months . So without further notice,, here goes .......

Continuous Meets
- Impromptu meets (sticky)
To included Chick-Fil-A, Capitol Center meets, etc.

Seasonal Meets
- Theme Park Meet (seasonal meet)
- Sandy Point State Park/end of season cookout (seasonal)

Event/Activity Based Meets
- Paint ball
- NOPI
- Charity Car Show (details pending)
- Mod Meet (details pending/mods not mandatory to attend)
- Photo shoot Meet (details pending)

Driving Meets/Regional Meets
(other locations to be suggested by members as well)

- Hawk's Nest Regional Meet
- Ross Dock's Regional Meet
- Skyline Drive Meet

 

Leroy and Tony let me be the first to say thank you for all the work that you guys did organizing not just this meet but all the ones that you guys have put together. I know I speak for all my NELOC family when I say we really appreciate all the hard work that has been done and all that we know you will continue to do into the future to help NELOC become bigger and better than it already is.

 

I know some of us like photoshoots and some do not but, I meant to say this yesterday and could not get it out: Some sort of photo shoot meet at some waterfront venue.

6. Somewhere in New York City (don't know NYC well enough to list location)

 

I real cool one would be in front of "The Awakening" at Haines Pointe.

 

I too would like to say thanks to Leroy and Tony for coordinating the Roundtable meet. It was nice to meet all of the new people who came out and I hope to see you all at future meets.

Hey Everyone,

The idea behind the "impromptu meet" being a sticky is so that anytime anyone wants to meet up last minute, it can be posted. This would be open to anyone on NELOC, not just MD. For example if you want to hang on a weekend at the last minute, you can post up and see if anyone wants to go.

So if the majority likes this idea, could one of the Mods make this a sticky.

 

Assisting Leroy with the coordination of the roundtable meet was my pleasure folks, as it is always. I do so out of love of this group, and I do believe that we are not only gonna continue to do great things together, but continue to grow together as a family. continue to post up the ideas folks. Even though you may not see the post in the beginning updated, Leroy and I have commited to keeping a seperate file offsite that we will continue to update as ideas come in. Great ideas will continue to flow, and I am proud to see people enthused and ready to step up and just take charge with whatever needs to be done. Once again, thank all of you for the recognition, and keep the ideas coming.

 

Yes, thank you Leroy & Tony for coordinating the meet. I know you guys leave the floor open for anyone with ideas but it's nice for someone to take the wheel so we get it done instead of just talking.... I liked the idea of bimonthly driving meets then bimonthly activity meets...

 

Hey, I know Kwam and Ryan are always down for a cruise so we'll make those driving meets happen. We'll have to find some local scenic spots too, so we can take a few pix.

Or we'll just meet you out on Central Ave, and burn some rubber. LOL

 

Guys the roundtable was nice. I felt welcome as a new member so to say. I do like the meet rotation. Driving and Continuous meets, with a seasonal bang sounds nice. But the drives are great. (the first drive I had was fun)
