Soup, the Hawk's Nest meet was one that we discussed yesterday as well. I believe the concensus was that it would definitely gain more interest than before. I think it was just bad timing before. Let's get the Hawk's Nest going.

 

I showed up late, but I had a great time. I wish I could have grabbed some food with you guys, but when I went to D&B's, the bartender hooked me up with a sick (ask Tony) L.I. and some chicken fingers. I had a great time as usual and hopefully we can hook up with some other car clubs so that we can go cruising (WINK, WINK Ana..). It was nice meeting the new guys. I hope you all can make it to the next meet. And Greg, what you brought with you to the meet was gorgeous. Yes, I'm talking about the SC and your wife.(LOL)

Ana, I thought your car was an auto until you showed me the stick. We need to work on that. (LOL)

Kevin, you are a nice lead man. Great job!!!! But next time, can we take it to either 50 or 70. I want to top this baby out.

Joe, that big LS surprisingly has a lot of down low grunt. We need to get you running up front, especially with the upgrades you are planning to add.

Alex, glad to have you come to the meet, hope its not the last. I know I didn't get a chance to talk with you, but at the next meet, we'll talk.

Sunny, nice to meet you. We didn't talk much either, but we'll get up at the next meet.

Brandon, we need to get together after my class is done and head down to one of those meets out in PG. Maybe Ana can join us with her AUTOMATIC IS 300(LOL).

Tara, wish you could have stayed longer. You would have appreciated the cruise. Tell Carlos I said WAASSUPP!!!

Smitty and Mrs.Smitty, I missed you guys, but we'll get up.

Leroy, the TEKKEN saga will continue as soon as classes end, I promise.

And for the cruises, whenever NY comes down, let me lead.....unless we are above 125, it's not a cruise.

 

I am glad I was able to stop by and meet all the new members and the OG NELOC crew. Funny, I got lost getting out of the Mall parking lot and ran into a White GS owner that was hooked up. Gave him a NELOC card. Or course Kevin flew past me so fast he didn't even see me. LOL. Until next time.

As always my post is late on the meet but either way I got to throw it up anyway...

It was always nice to see my NELOC brothers & sisters :-) It was a nice turn out with new faces representing (that use to be me lol) Anyway, this group only gets cooler and cooler and very happy we were able to throw out some ideas and try to get better organized and as Kevin said "do more things with our cars"...lol

Smitty & Wifey - It was nice meeting you... You'll have to come out to more future meets; we always need more NELOC females.

Brandon - Car was looking clean as always and I'll be sure to give you and Smitty a call next time I'm hanging around 214. So we can show them how Lexus gets down!

Nate - I only got to see you for a hot second but I did arrive a lil late...

Kwame - I got to call you out because you were giving me such a hard time about my driving. I know you are use to my driving from Carlisle but I also just got my baby back... Plus Nyla was holding it down so didn't want to seem like I had to be the leader. But next time I'll be sure to come up and say hello to you in your rearview just so you don't forget NELOC ladies do it better...lol

Leroy - Thank as always for getting things together and really trying to get ideas written down.

Tony - Job well done Senator, I saw you with paper and pen in hand... I'm sure next time you guys decide to "celebrate" your bday you can give me a call.

Tara - Car looks good and always fun to hang out with you, tell Carlos we are waiting for him to pull up in his LS so we can "officialize" him... :-)

Kevin - Always a pleasure to see you. Very good idea with the drives. You sent us on a nice cruise and you know when to go for it and when to hold back. I thought I stayed nicely in the middle but some people named Kwamdoo feel I had to push it a bit more. Maybe because he is use to more or he just wants to see how an IS looks from the back...lol (j/k j/k)

Sunny- It was good to see you again...

Nyla- You def did the dang thing out on the streets!!! ES's holding it down! Too bad Smitty couldn't have taken that cruise you would have made him proud. Very cool and hope to see you out at future meets. If I don't talk to you before hand, HAPPY PRE-BIRTHDAY :-)

Greg and Kathy- Very nice to meet you. The SC looks hot! Very nice addition to the family.

Bob - Good to see you make it out to another meet, one more to go :-) Hope you been enjoying your IS...

I really enjoyed myself and this was the perfect way to get Scarlet back with a meet the next day... I hope to see you guys in Ocean City if I don't have to work, I'll keep you posted.

Soup, if i'm not mistaken, a lot of people wanted the Hawk's Nest Drive to happen one week later or so, how about we plan for August 18th? It's 3 weeks prior to the Ross Docks Meet, and we'll say the Hawk's Nest Drive is the August Meet. Any thoughts?

 

seems like you guys had a good time! Sorry I couldn't make it. I was talking to Leroy all week and I was planning on coming. Things changed last minute and I wasn't able to make it out! I hope to meet some of ya'll at one of the upcoming meets!

 

As we making the trek around the parking lot from the school to Damons we saw a 1st Gen GS with some rims and thought it was you. Leroy disappeared and I thought he went to track what we thought was you down. To no avail, but you did miss a good time and meeting some of the other new people. Hope to see you out soon. We do have a meet/cruise to Ocean City this weekend also you may want to check out. This is for the Funk Master Flex show.
