Guess where I was this morning? The BMW Ultimate Drive is being held today (day 1) for NYC at Belmont Racetrack in Elmont Long Island (same location Taste of Lexus is held each year). You get to ride and drive Volvo xc90's, Mercedes ML500, Lexus LX470. You do a shoot out of the X5 4.8is vs. the above mentioned, in pedal to the metal around an auto cross type course. SO much damn fun that you have to go for yourself! Anyone else attend? Here are some pics. More to come

Not at all.

For those that will like to attend and did not pre-register, all you have to do is show up and bring your drivers license to register on the spot It does not matter if you are not a BMW owner come one come all. It is free!!!

This event is different than the Taste of Lexus in that you can drive the cars on the street (with a BMW rep along side you) for 15 minutes. How cool is that? Or you can drive the cars on the road course that they have set up. You can drive the 750I, 335c, 335I, Z4, X5, X3, The 335 makes you grin from ear to ear..The downside (for the hungry folks) No food is distributed at this event. It is all about the driving experience.

lol.. I am here. Just rolled out of bed. Ok, to answer your question regarding age requirement, I am not sure. You may make the cut to drive at 18 years of age only with a BMW rep in the car. Wow, I can be your dad being that I am twice your age I feel old amoung you young Nelocers ..

Sorry I left the house to head over there before seeing this. They had 335A and 6 speed. Did you go? Today was the last day unfortunately..
