would I bve able to pass the NYS inspection with a jdm 1 or 2 jz gte in my car..if nnot what would I need to make it passable

C, wouldn't the 2J be no problem if it was USDM?

 

I myself wouldn't be able to tell you that it would pass or not.. but I can tell you this much... I suggest you taking receipt for every single part you bought for your car. and put it as OEM USDM as possible...

I remember my cousin takin his Acura Type R for inspection, He had everything JDM.. He took off the JDM Front and put the stock one back on.. so I'm thinking you should just put everything to USDM.

 

Or, know the right person.
