How do i know if the 2IS is JDM Spec or USDM Spec?

JDM = Japan Spec?

USDM = USA Spec?

JDM = Japan Direct Market

USDM = U.S. Direct Market

 

do you have power folding mirrors?
Look at your fog lights are they HID's?
Do the have LEDs on the fogs as well?

many other small differences that others will input
but those are the obvious ones


butt since your in the Dominican republic i think its USDM..

Can you determine the Spec by the VIN number?

 

i'm sure you can but you'll need to find someone who knows how? loll i dont understand those very well just look at your fogs you should be able to tell right away

According to this post, you can determine the destination from the last letter of the model code. In the example it is "A" for USA and Canada.

 

hrmm............... I wonder why some people have JDM and some people have USDM. doesn't make sense, it should all be the same unless they did the upgrade themselves... or maybe I"m just thinking too narrow, and just looking at United States and not the whole world

i don't think all IS in japan come with the jdm fogs. i thought those were just options available there?
