Hey Nelocian brothers, i am asking for some help in the tri-state area. A buddy of mine constantly asks me to buy my truck. Well im tired of it and i told him i would search and find him one for himself so we can both have them. he is looking for something under 20k, so i know high mileage(65k-85k) and probably something around y2k.

Now ive just called 15 Lexus dealerships and nobody has anything. Funny enough, well actually its terrible, Lexus of Manhattan was the only pleasant one to speak with. *side note: i have yet to call my dealership but im pretty damn sure they aint got ish. All the other dealerships i spoke with were nasty to me over the phone (i guess from my younger voice on the phone) but when they found out i have a LX myself they got all nice to me...**** lexus dealerships i only want to deal with the one i go to, they are the only nice ones i know. Anyways back to my bid for help.

Can everyone keep an eye out for a Used LX470 on the car lots around NY/CT/NJ. Maybe even a LandCruiser but i think to be a LC it has to be black. Also he doesnt want green anything(he had a green ES300 back in the day).


Please guys i know you all are driving around constantly and i hope our network of people can help me find him a truck easier.

There are plenty in Queens on Hillside ave. Seen many Lexus cars and trucks on the lots.

 

Did you call Lexus of Smithtown out here on Long Island? They are always nice to me and very courteous at the entire dealership, can't see them not being courteous to you..

Yeah i dont know about auctions as its for a friend but maybe he could join me join me one day.

And wahts this madness about switching wristbands? Who would do such a thing?

LexusChris nice find on the 2000. Sheet i want that myself! At least take the wheels for some nice offroading sets.

Oh and as a side note, i just made my friend blow his first gear on his '06 WRX trying to race my LS430, ahh im so happy.

 

damn how do you break the tranny in those cars, they are built pretty tough

 

i got a friend at work selling his 98 LX... really cheap!

 

the WRX's 5spds are jello but the STis have the bulletproof tranny, the 6spd.
