Default Finally,,,,

Well folks, the end of summer is here and the next mod incubation season is about to begin. Have lots PLANNED for the LS this winter for next years unveiling, just got to see how the money flows. LOL!!! After an exhausting purchase transaction, I finally received my JDM headlights for the LS. Haven't installed them yet, just got around to cracking them open. Now have to convert my wiring harness from 9004 to H4 and then I will get my HID's. The difference is only slightly suttle but am still trying to follow the advice of my fellow NELOC brothas' and of course sista's on taking baby steps and modding by what you can afford, and not go overboard all at one time. Here's a sneak peek for comparison sake. Will install soon....

Before....

After,,

Thanks, everyone. Cant wait to install them, just need to go and get wire harness to convert to H4. I know that my mods are small in comparison to others here, but parts for the first Gen LS are extremely hard to find and are pretty rare to get. After that, on to my next project.

yeah i was on this thread earlier in class on my cell phone. i noticed it looked nice but now that im on my computer i can really see how much nicer that looks. Your going to put the eye lids back on too right?

Also, have you thought of painting the grille to match the body paint?

1Loud you been gone for awhile,, how you been?? Yes the eyelids are going to go back on. May take the opportunity to have them redone and repainted while they are off. I like that 1 piece JDM design for my car but it took like 5 months for them to come in. As far as the grill, I do plan on doing something with the grill. Thinking about having the silver trim around the grill, painted black, insert will be of a black mesh design so the L just looks like it is suspended in the middle of nothing. Kinda holding off on that, until I make the commitment and get it painted all black. Still have alot of ideas up in the air, money just ain't flowing right and I have a 7 y/o daughter to support, so I am keeping my priorities straight. Especially with Christmas coming in a few months. For the time being, just focusing on the little things for now and will probably have my front and rear bumpers touced up until I can have the entire car painted. Major project for the immediate future is trying to save the money for Valve adjustment, could really use an engine overhaul. Then Todd has convinced me that the LS needs to spend some time in NY for some other goodies. Spring gonna be good, but hopefully summer will be even better. Just mad that I really cant attend the BBQ's being on sundays an all. LOL!!!!

Those are easy to find, I think you said you are near CT right??? Just check any PILOT truck stop and you will find them $198. Of course you will need an air canister the size of a fire extinguisher to push them. My buddy has them on a Yukon Denali, they are insane when they go off. If you are near 95 in CT then there is a Pilot truck stop at exit 40 in Milford.
