Dropped, HID fogs, LED parking lights

wow with the drop its a night and day difference, and the yellow HID fogs are really bright! 
the thing i never understood is why do people buy AWD models then drop it? doesnt that defeat the purpose of having an AWD vehicle? just curious as to why you chose the AWD over the RWD if you ended up droppin it?

Thanks, I got the AWD b/c of all the snow I encounter during the winter. I'm an avid snowboarder so I travel all over the east coast (NJ, PA, VT) in search of snowy mountains. I know the drop will lower the clearance, but I hope it doesn't affect the AWD traction.
