Default Someone tried to steal my wheels.

I'm getting a nice welcoming from the city of brotherly love. I just moved to Philly. Actually, I drove out here with some friends, and I left my car at a friend's apt building while I went back to Cali for a week. He lives in a safer suburb of Philly and the area looks decent, so I felt OK leaving my car here. It was parked in a good spot, in front of the building. I came back today to find this:

One lug bolt was broken. One lug nut was loose. All 4 air caps were gone.

I need some advice. What can I do? I'm not planning on putting my Volks in the closet soon, but I need some stock wheels. Does anyone around here have any that I can borrow or buy?

BTW, if the thief happens to surf on this site, you better watch yourself. My car is now parked in plain view of where I'm staying. I'll be watching.

Sorry to hear about this. Get a pager alarm, It will give off warning chirps or full blast if the car is being tampered with and alert via page if someone messes with your ride. Also invest in some good wheel locks with the spinning shell. This particular wheel lock make it near impossiblefo a theif to utilize an instrument to pry off the wheel lock Mcguard wheel locks and the like without the spinning shell can be taken off easy by theives.

where do you get these spinning wheel locks from? will the local auto parts store have them?

if anyone in the area has a set of wheels they can spare, i'd appreciate it.

I would throw a car cover on there too might be a pain to do everyday but could help a little.
