Is there a group going down and not staying overnight?

 

The best route to harrisburg is the 78.. which means we have to take the Holland Tunnel.

We had to take the holland for the SEMA show. We wound up meeting up at Delancy and Bowery.. plenty of parking space because of the park there and its just about a minute until you hit the Holland. Its also a point where everyone can meet no matter where they are coming from.

I don't see why we can't meet up there again.

 

Little advice,,, when you all get into PA, would suggest you stay in the left lane until at least you've gotten past Allentown. Road is all highway but can get "bumpy" in a few places. Just a heads up.

 

yeah i know the road tone ...i always head out there to see one of my peeps that lives in emmaus, so i know what your talking about..your absolutely right.

 

I will be at the meet location at 10AM to make sure all is well. Carlos has my cell in the event that the NYC caravan runs into any problems. If you are not going to make the caravan and are driving down seperately, PM me and I'll get you my cell in case you get hung up somewhere.

 

are we going to use 2way radios or will we just stick to free nights and weekends?

Brooklyn/bronx members maybe ya can setup a meet place out there and then we all converge on delancey in manhattan before the tunnel . Queens members chime in on where and when then we head out to delancey to meet up with bklyn, manhattan, and bronx members.

k thanks carlos...maybe i'll just meet up with you guys on i-78...when i mapquested directions to get an idea of where i was going, it told me to take the throgs neck, 95s to the jersey turnpike i think and then i-78...so i'll just punch harrisburg into my navi and meet up with you guys on 78..what time are you heading out? 9ish?

CaT, Delancey and Bowery is REALLLY easy to get to...Hop on the LIE west, take the BQE south, follow signs for the Williamsburg Bridge and hop on that...that will put you on Delancey street. Wait till it crosses with Bowery one block after Roosevelt Park and BAM!

Then just continue west on Delancey and you'll pull up to the Holland.

 

Yup ...thats why I suggested that route..its 123... to get us on the 78. Actually Roosevelt park was the block I was thinlking because there is plenty of parking there. THey have all that angled parking on the side.

ooh by the way.. i will have the escort passport 8500 v50..for those who know what that is....
