Ok so I bought this unit from a friend and I ended up deciding that I like the stock stereo look in my GS. I have never actually used it so but I was assured it works great. It has a few blemishes that you can see in the pictures. I would assume when the screen is on you probably wouldn't notice it much. The screen flips out and reveals the dvd/cd player. The Nav cd is already in the drive. I also was told by a stereo shop that the trim ring/beauty ring is missing but they said it is no big deal that they could probably use another one or that they probably have one laying around. The friend that sold it to me had a toyota and it was a direct plug in, if your car isn't toyota you may have to buy a harness which could be found on ebay or at your local stereo shop for 20 bucks. I did not try it on the lexus so I could not tell you if it works for it.
