Can this play dvds while in motion? What are some of the cool capabilities of this unit? Can I hook up a Nav, or play cds?

I purchased my Avic N1 and put an Avic N2 in my gf's car... if I had to do it over again, I'd get this and put it in my GS.

Good luck with the sale - I highly doubt you'll have a problem selling it.

 

You could do pretty much anything with a carputer. You could listen to thousands of songs, hook up a GPS unit (like the MS Streets with GPS Module), play videos (without any motion restraints). Another really cool feature is hotspot networking, you hook up with a wifi hot spot or even park your car within your home network's wireless range and you could download songs directly from your computer, surf the internet, or even download songs in your car from a P2P client. Another thing cool feature is you could even make your own interface, and create a desktop with the necessary applications. I was purchased a Avic-D1, but I'm in the process of selling it, and i'm going to put in one of these carputers. SO are you selling this with the faceplate? I was hoping to put this into my IS, but it doesnt look like it will fit.

Pmme too ........but I was wondering if this would have to replace the whole head unit and how you had this is your GS, or what lexus, and if is a hard install , also have to replace stock speakers ?

seen like a drop in but was wondering also it is dvd player , and can you connect to the internet too ?

I have a In dash DVD player but I haven't installed it because i was told that i would have to replace all the stock speakers with different ohms ..
