Description:

If you're looking for this on ClubLexus, you know the drill with this tool!

Upload summer and winter TPMS IDs to your computer, download to this device, and the device uploads them to your car. Used only a handful of times on 4th Gen LS cars.

Full retail is around $150. Tool pays for itself quickly, especially if you tend to use the dealership for seasonal reprogramming.

ATEQ SKU 856314002024

So you scan the sensors with this tool, hook it up to the OBD port, and done?

Close, but not quite. You input sensor codes (for summer and winter sets) into your computer and download to the tool. Hook up to OBD port and then press either the sun or the snow flake button to program the set for the season. Then you're done!

There are few threads on it (I think); this is where I first learned of this tool.

Ahh, so I have to know the sensor’s ID or whatever number.

Correct, but someone with a shop tool can read the sensor IDs. There was a time (early days) where for Toyota/Lexus sensors, they had to break the bead to read the code printed on the sensors (no other way to read).
