Hi All,
I'm In the market for a pristine 1998-2000 LS400. Doesn't necessarily have to be ultra low miles, but would really prefer to have one that has been well cared for mechanically and is cosmetically as close to perfect as possible. I've really had my heart set on a Platinum Edition but so far they have proven difficult to find so willing to widen the search a bit. Open to any color with the exception of gold/champagne.
I'm an adult buyer with plenty of cash on hand and am not going to waste anyone's time. Willing to travel anywhere in the county and will happily pay market rate for the right car. Even willing to pay a finders fee if someone can point me to one I wasn't already aware of.
Appreciate the help, this forum has been an incredible resource already and I'm very excited to become a Lexus owner again.

Thanks for these suggestions.
Looks decent but can't say I love blue.
I think I thought these were the same car. The first one has been discussed here, looks a little ragged for the number of miles it has. Second one looks like it's had fender replaced.
I was under impression 2040-cars was a scam site?

99 LS 121k mi black/tan
In Nashville, have a 99 LS w 121k mi - I have owned personally as my daily driver since Dec 2004 when I bought it w 37k mi (am second registered owner bought from MB local where a Dr traded it w 37k mi for a new S Class...a mistake! Lol)
Oil changes regularly every 4-5k mi and i have done done all the major stuff (timing belt, idler tensioner pulley, gasket covers, new starter, etc ) has brakes and tires w less than 7k on them - all services done by local Lexus master technician
Never damaged nor any accidents etc - back seat and passenger dear totally like new, driver seat only wear is some minor cracks on thigh support (leather guy says $100 prob fixes it)
Am considering selling to perhaps get a SC, but def no need to as 99 LS no doubt best car I've ever owned and prob best I ever will...certainly a 300-500,000 mi vehicle if cared as I have cared for it - this LS was truly Lexus at its finest quality build and one of the best V8 engines ever made (look it up)
About as close to mint 1/2 owner w verified records as exists in US for a 99 LS black/tan w Nakamichi etc

1998 2 tones Silver/Gray
55000 original miles
first owner was an elder lady who passed away last year
second owner was the lady's son in law
and I'm the third owner
all service done within 12 months including timing
all 4 brakes and rotors were done in Sep 2019
a decent size ding/dent in the passenger fender
few scratches her and there
original paint never had a body work done
everything work as it should
one of the cleanest originals inside and out
sony touch screen head unit with apple play and rearview camera was installed replacing of cassette player which I still have

2000 Platinum edition LS400
I have a 2000 LS400 Platinum edition it is in the best shape of any of my have seen I have actually tracked the mileage and I am getting roughly 19 miles to the gallon in City on the highway I might almost 25 miles to the gallon this car uses no oil it is clean front to back it has some basic age showing scratches on the body one doors got some scratches on it the bumper covers need to be repainted natural scratches and stuff I'm asking $9,000 for it it's got $377,000 miles on it runs like a rape date if you want me to send you pictures you can reach me by texting me at 931-247-4203
