Hey CL, looking for a new set of wheels for my CX-9 (I attached an image of my car just for reference). I know this is a long shot since most of you go with 18-20" wheels, but I figured I'd give it a try before buying new. My max budget for wheels is $1500 USD.
Again, I'm most interested in 22" wheels with a 5x114.3 lug pattern, 67.1mm or larger center bore. Width and offset can vary, but to give you an idea, I'd be content with something like 22x9 +20 to +30 or 22x10.5 +35. Used or new, doesn't matter, but I would prefer as little damage as possible.
Update: Just thought I'd add that I'm looking for a square setup - no staggered widths, and a minimal amount of variance between front and rear offset, if any. This is so I can run one size of tire all around and rotate them when necessary.
FYI, I'm located in Canada, but I have a contact in the US that I will be using if a find a seller there.
So you have an idea of what I'm looking for, I'm mostly interested in a monoblock style wheel, like the Niche Form, Misano, or Elan. Though I am wide open to whatever's out there. I'd love a nice clean set of imported wheels from Japan like Weds Kranze Graben or Verse for example, but I'd rather not deal with the crazy shipping fees importers have to charge. Also if you guys have any suggestions on other brands to check out besides Niche and AG for buying new, I'd appreciate it.
Also considering Vossen VFS series and HF series now.
Bump for the weekend. Suggestions welcomed! At this point, the only wheels I've seen and liked are all from Niche: the Form, Elan, and Staccato specifically.
