Clutch not working right until the car is warmed up.
I have a 95 SC300 with a 5 speed. I have been having trouble with the clutch not acting right when the car is cold.
When it is cold, it is hard to get the car in any gear and the clutch feels a little soft. Once it is warmed up (about 15 minutes) it shifts pretty nice and the peddle gets firm.
When I rebuilt the engine (NA-T) last year, I put in a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch.
To try and fix the problem, I have bled the clutch line so many times I cannot count. Using gravity bleed, vacuum bleed, 2 man pump the peddle bleed, etc. I pre-bled the master cylinder before install.
I have replaced the slave cylinder. I have replaced the master cylinder. First with an OE style and then with a Wilwood.
Still same issue. I am thinking maybe the slave is no good and has a leak in the o-ring or maybe a bubble in the line that I cannot get out that once it gets warm is not so compressible?
I am looking for any suggestions.
Thanks,
Bruce
