Default Brake malfunction, check ABS and slip indicator light on 2015 IS250

I had to replace the passenger rear wheel bearing on my IS250 and was unaware you had to remove the speed sensor prior to putting new wheel bearing on. When I took the car out for a drive the brake light, slip light/TRAC light, whatever it is, was on, as well as “brake malfunction” and “check ABS” displayed on the dash. After getting back to the house and taking it all back apart I saw I had not only broke the sensor but bent up the dust deflector ring pretty bad too. I ordered a new ring and ABS sensor, put the new wheel bearing back on, got car back together and all the same lights are still on. Am I missing something??

Is the magnet/tone ring built into the hub? Did it get damaged? Do you have an oscilloscope so you can test if the sensor is outputting a pulse? Or a code reader that can show live data?

Yes, the magnet/tone ring did get damaged. I ended up having to buy another bearing/hub assembly. Costly mistake I tell you. I do not have an oscilloscope, just a multimeter. Will that work? I do have a code reader though. It’s one of the cheapies but it does show live data. What exactly do I need to be looking for?

Replacing the hub again didn't fix the problem? A cheapo code reader usually won't give you live data in a graph, or will display the data too slow.

No it didn’t fix the problem! I thought for sure after replacing it and installing the new dust deflector and ABS sensor I should be good to go. I can’t figure out what else it could possibly be or where I could’ve went wrong.
