The old Lexy started shutting off when at idle (like when at traffic light). Above idle RPM is seems to run smooth enough (I don't think it is miss firing any cylinders).
If it gets below 1000 RPM the engine quickly quits.
The mx manual says that idle speed is pre-set and should not need to be changed. So there must be a problem somewhere in the idle system.
Here is a pix, Notice that the throttle cable is slack. Could that be part of the prob.? I never noticed before that is was slack.
