Default Tire rotation

Hey all,

I'm curious how does the Lexus technician do a tire rotation on a IS350? The wheels are staggered. Are they taking the left wheel and putting it on the right, vice versa?

It seems a bit pointless with staggered wheels.

Okay so I’m not crazy... I questioned the service advisor at Lexus when he tried to charge me for a tire rotation. Saying it prolongs my tires. How? My car is AWD and my wheels are staggered.

I find most Lexus dealerships just rotate front to rear. If your car has non directional tires and front-wheel drive. The proper rotation is to take the front two tires straight back and crisscross the rear two and go forward. You can check proper tire rotation at almost any Tire manufacturing website
