Hello, I have a 2007 IS350 and as I was driving yesterday, all of a sudden the ABS and traction control lights came on together. The system also said VSC off, and the brake light would turn on and off intermittently. I was driving at a slow speed and the Power steering light came on as well and the steering wheel became very stiff. When I turned the car off and on, it drove fine and there were no lights at first but then the same lights (ABS, VSC off, Traction control, BRAKE, P/S) all turned as I began driving and the steering wheel got very stiff again. I parked the car and turned it off. As I went to turn it on today I realized the battery was dead since I could not unlock the car with the key. I have not pulled the codes yet, I've been reading around and some people recommend getting the battery or alternator replaced. Others say there is a problem with the ABS sensor or to get the ABS module replaced, I'm thoroughly confused and I have not done anything yet, any ideas?

Start with having the battery/alternator tested. Any of the chain auto parts stores have the equipment to test both in the car. Also have them read the fault codes through your OBDII port. Just drive the car there and ask them to test your battery/charging system and check for codes. . Those two items are the cheapest/easiest potential fixes.
