Need to replace a TPMS on my ageing GS450h. Lexus dealer wants absurd price to do this. Have a replacement TPMS, but no way to register it once installed in wheel.
I've seen ads on eBay for cheap ODB2 cables with (what appears to be) old software (Win XP) that will do the job - but wondered if this actually works and / or if there is a preferred solution etc.
I think I read somewhere that someone mentioned that Tires Plus stores will reprogram them for a reasonable charge. If you have one in your area it couldn't hurt to give them a call and ask.
