I need to change my engine oil soon, and should i go with 5000 mile service schedule or 7500 mile service? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

 

I would recommend 5,000 miles interval because it's easier to keep on track and it's good to your engine.
For example, 5K, 10K, 15K, 20K and so on..
With 7500 miles interva, then it will look like 7500, 15,000, 22,500,30,000,37,5000 and so on....
I do my oil change every 3K and I know a lot of us do the same to our cars. A little extra bucks won't hurt for a long run and some peace of mine, but this is depending on your driving condition and your personal preference. Just my .02 cents.
