Hi

I recently bought 1uzfe non vvt engine to fit into my colt 2.8 body now i am encountering few problems

1. how does 1 go about connecting the dash from the existing original wiring ? ( Reverse ,oil pressure lights, temp gauge and converting digital speed meter from original Lexus gearbox to analog colt )

2.With the original ECU ..do i need a separate transmission control unit ?

3.how do you know which year model is your engine ? i tried ordering igniters the was a problem identifying with which was right for since i bought my engine used from SA engine importers who have no idea whats what....?

The engine is filled nicely inside but my mechanic insist i use aftermarket ECU's which are not budgeted for ... so anyone with knowledge to donate please feel free lebogangboima@gmail.com is also accepting helping hands
