Car key fix?
I have car key broken 3 times, plastic just fell off.

To rekey I paid $80 at locksmith, so I ordered another keycase on the pic that flips that I think can work longer.
Do you see a way I can swap metal key part without rekey?
Any one did such replacement already?

My key fobs cracked and fell apart. I ordered new blanks on e-bay (blue for me and black for my husband). I then took the broken keys and my new blanks to the dealer who cut the new keys, placed the electronics in the new fobs and new batteries. For 20.00. no guarantee on them but they work perfect.
