So after my 98 ls400 stalled out a few times I heard that the throttle body could be the cause. I cleaned that (thanks to an awesome write up on this site) but now, even when the car is warm it idles at almost 1600 rpm. Besides that the engine runs great. It actually responds now when I give in gas stuck in bumper to bumper traffic.

Any suggestions on what it may be?

Car is not popping any codes. If it were the idle control valve wouldn't it idle low?
