Hi all just wondering if this is a common problem and if anyone else has run into this issue. I have a 2001 GS430 and the trunk lever to open the trunk all of a sudden stopped working. However it does open if I use the remote to open the trunk. I tried searching if there is any other posts but didnt find any, anyone have ideas of what I should check? I did have the same problem with the hood not opening which I ended up having to replace the cable. I'm just hoping its not the same situation here as it was a pain to fit through all the angles and firewall..
