Do any of the engine analyzers on the market pinpoint which cylinder is misfiring. I replaced all spark plugs and coils this past summer after a long battle figuring out the problem. But now the miss fire is back and it's kind of cold to be guessing at which cylinder is the problem child. I did pull the top cover off and checked cylinders 2,4 and 6 for engine miss fire by pulling coil wires and the resulting engine response. Did not detect any problems. That leaves all the cylinders on the back side of the engine. If I could pinpoint the bad cylinder I would attempt the repair myself, but I can't afford to blindly replace all three cylinder components because of cost and time in the cold.
Really though this problem would not happen again for a long long time. Is this a continual problem with the RX model or is it more wide spread? Also would like to know why there is such a large price difference in coils being offered on line. Is it really a quality issue our price gouging?
