My car needs to pass inspection but they don't wanna pass it because my 2 front seats are broken.
So I need 2 new complete seats but nobody have them I tried every dealer but they don't have them and had no luck online or in salvage yards.
But I got a guy who has 2 Ford Taurus leather seats but I wonder if it will fit.
Do seats generally fit or does it need to be car specific.
I have no other way I have to decide tomorrow before the guy sell the seats so I'll appreciate if you reply quickly I am like begging on my knees here because if the car won't pass I don't know what I am gonna do because I really NEED my car and I'm not in a condition to buy a new car now.
So I am begging you please help me'

 

They will not fit without modification to the mounting locations... Even then, chances are your seatbelts wont work...

try the classifieds section here on the board, there are a few members who part out cars, or, I found hundreds of them on www.car-part.com, many of which are in Texas

there is a pair for $180 in Austin, another pair for $170 in the DFW area, and a bunch of unpriced ones in Houston...
