Hi guys, we are looking at buying a Lexus NX and was wondering if anyone has tried fitting 3 child seats across the rear? Our child seats range from 42 to 44cm in width so they are the small types.

you sure that's the full width? That's pretty narrow for car seats. It should fit if that's accurate, but they should be 5 point harnesses. If any of these require the seatbelt after the child is in, then your hand is going to get smashed all the time trying to secure it.

I would suggest going to the dealer with your three seats and just trying it too.

 

Alex on Autos made a video regarding NX200t child seats. He tried to fit 3, but won't fit. The Acura RDX, which I was going to buy, on the other hand fit 3.

 

3 is way to tight. I know you "can" fit 3 in the RDX, but don't know if you "should". That is way cramped!

 

 

Nope. I have 2 car seast and one skinny person sat in the middle and she most of the time sat with half of her butt. Looking for bigger car.
