O.K. So I was using my power outlet in the ashtray to pump up a tire with an air compressor. I left for a few minutes and return to find the compressor had stopped running. Did the outlet blow? I have no idea. The other AC source in the console works, but not the ashtray. Can someone please help? Ideas and suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

 

check the basics like fuses etc

 

I have checked the fuse, the one in the kick panel for the outlet. I put in a new fuse and no luck. Anyone have any other ideas as to what may be the problem? Thanks.

 

I know this may sound stupid bud I had something like that happen to me only it was my cell phone charger. I just used a lil brute force and jammed the plug in there and voila it had power.
