Default Changing oil more often does not make particles a moot point

The issue is , OEM = No or few sand particles., high flow means that more small particles get into the oil and get sent to galleries and bearings.
Whether they are there for 3000 miles or 10000 miles, if they are there, they will have an adverse affect on the surfaces that should be smooth .
No particles is a better route to take.
Just my opinion.

Paper does let in particles. Take a look at this picture that I download from the link I posted earlier, paper filters better, but not as much as we are led to believe.
With flash light on, you can see how much particles are caught after passing through K&N, Amsoil or Napa (paper) filter
