I have had my es300 for nearly 10 years now and it's about to hit 180k on the odometer. About a week or so ago the check engine light came on so I ran over to auto zone to get the code read. I figured it was an oxygen sensor and sure enough that was the culprit. It's the bank 1 sensor 2 and in the past I replaced this sensor myself probably 7 or so years ago and I recall cutting my hand up pretty good just getting the old one out and the new one in because the spacing is so tight where that sensor is located. A few years after I had replaced that sensor it went bad again so the next time I brought it to the nearest lexus dealership and they swapped it out for me, because I didn't want to get my hand mangled again without the proper tools lol. Anyways to the point. The service department is closed right now otherwise I would have just asked them, but does anyone have a ballpark as to what getting that replaced would set me back?
It's been a few years since I posted here so I couldn't honestly remember if people were allowed to give out prices at all or ballpark numbers and the like. I simply just do not remember what it set me back last time and figured I would hop on here lol. Anyways, any help would be appreciated, I am figuring somewhere in the 400.00 range but wanted to ask anyhow.
So Hi to everyone since I have not been around in a while, hope you all are doing well
Thanks,
Ryan
