Default 90 lexus ls400 axle popping out

the passenger side axle keeps popping out and i think if its like a hondas axles they have a loose ring or retaining clip on the end. if so than thats what im missing, then that brings up the question did i damaged my diff. when i pop it back in it drives like nothings wrong so that leads me towards the retaining clip.

any help would be good help and thank you.

More than likely your diff is fine. How many miles does your car have?

is there any way you could post a photo of what you are referring to?

At 200k I would say its probably time to replace the axles. They could be worn beyond spec.

I would also look into play in the rear suspension... typically, even without snap rings, there isn't a lot of room for the axles to actually pop out (of the rear diff)... is the retaining clip present?

the snap ring is nonexistent on that side as for the suspension there is zero play.

it did not completely pop out of the diff but however it was enough so realize these cars dont come with an lsd and it lightly worn the end of the shaft but not enough to where a snap ring can not be replace.
pics will be added soon.

Interesting... It has to have gone somewhere... maybe when it popped out one time for who knows what reason, it departed the car... you should see a groove 3/8" or so from the end of the axle...
