Anyone know a source that charges less then the dealer for this grade oil? I only seem to be able to find Mobil1 0w30 but never Mobil 1 0w40.. so my quest continues....
I've searched and searched.... with no luck

I dont know all teh markest.
I think eventually it is supposed to be everywhere..
The spread from 0w to 40 is a bit large, usually I'd consider it too large (too many VI's) BUT since this is a full syn it wont matter quite as much.
I prefer a 5w-40 full synthetic to minimize the spread biut still have good wintyer capacity.
But the MOBIL 1 0w-40 can't be a bad oil if they use it in Germany a lot, where as we all know hard driving is a rule rather than an exception.

thanks!
I found an Autozone about 25 miles from my house that carries it and has it in stock for $4.99 per quart..... The ones near my house don't carry it but one of the Autozones out in the sticks does... go figure?
I've heard great things about this Mobil1 0w40... It comes stock in Porsche 996, Boxster, Turbo as well as many BMWs and some Audi's as well as some Mercedes models!
