Help on dealer rip off
I have a 95 sc300 with a manual and 88000 milies on it. I also got a four star warranty from GE capital on it that expires in November. I was going to take it in to get checked out for the last time sometime this week. I got weird noises coming from clutch pedal when it is not pressed all the way in. I know that most clutch components are not covered by warranty but what else do you guys think I can ask them to do, besides that, like hoses or belts. Regular maitenance is not covered by it and I don't want to take it in more than once because there is a $100 deductable I have to pay every time. Anyone had anything similar?
P.S. There is no stains under where I park and the sensor seems to be ok, but I think it is eating oil. I just added oil three days ago and now it is showing like half of it.

Having had a 93 SC 5spd for most of 8 yrs and all of 93k miles, I can say that it shouldn't be the clutch itself yet, unless it was abused in its prior life. Regardless, it seems to me that it might be better to spend $100 a couple of times than to wait until your warranty expires, because they have to drop the tranny to deal with clutch/throwout bearing/linkage issues. And that is WAY more than a couple of hundred bucks!!
That souns like a throwout bearing. Its a great thing to replace when you replace the clutch. The part should be less than $50, it was about $12, for my Sprite, and the current one in another car, makes some noise, but the mechanic, who I trust said it was good for 10k+ miles. I hope the cost of a replacement would not exceed 200-300, I don't know about labor costs, and it requires an engine or transmission pull, but little else. If you have a friend with a hoist you could do it yourself on a Saturday, Although you would want a Haynes manual at hand. Hope this helps.
