Default Oil change by months

My aunt's new LS has accumulated 1200 miles over 7 months (and I thought my car was low mileage). She asked me if she should be getting an oil change or not.
My main concern is if Lexus uses a break-in oil as factory fill. I know Honda specifically states not to change the factory fill earlier than necessary.

As it seems there are a few Lexus techs who frequent this forum, have you guys heard from Lexus about a break-in oil being used as factory fill, or is it just your typical 'ol conventional oil?

Lightbulb Plain 'Ole Texaco Oil

K - The factory fill oil is simply a base stock Chevron-Texaco 5W-30 oil. At least C/T USED to supply Toyota/Lexus with it's lubricants. Feel free to change it along the recommendations of Sooner & Dawg. U can also do a search of "Oil" to get the feelings of conventional versus synthetics; filter recommendations, etc.
