Spark plugs different brand

What is the con for using different brand on spark plugs such as champion, instead of NGK or Denso on import cars?

Its been my experience that cars that are designed for NGK or Denso plugs run really poorly on champion or bosch plugs...

Results will vary from car to car, you're better off putting OEM plugs back in; unless you're modifying your car where you'll need a stronger spark.

champion plugs run at a lower heat range than NGK. When I didn;t know better, i ran champion in my old mazda. ran crappy and the plugs got fouled. Used NGK, ran fine and no fouling.

I would assume that when changing one or two bad spark plugs, they should be the exact same type as the ones that are already in the engine (i.e. it is not a good idea to mix bosch and NGK). What about mixing NGK and Denso?

the ECU may not be calibrated the same way and it may not run as well (i.e. burn more fuel, more misfire, etc), but it will run.

I've read that even Toyota mixed NGK and Denso when putting these cars together. Owners found out when changed, realizing that they had 3 NGKs and 3 Densos. lol

NGK and Denso are so similar anyway. Just difference in price....NGK being cheaper.
